A Data Flow Diagram (DFD) is a graphical representation of the “flow” of Student Information System. A data flow diagram can also be used for the visualization of Data Processing. It is common practice for a designer to draw a context-level DFD first which shows the interaction between the system and outside entities. Data Flow Diagram (DFD) provides a visual representation of the flow of information (i.e. Data) within a system. By drawing a Data Flow Diagram, you can tell the information provided by and delivered to someone who takes part in system processes, the information needed in order to complete the processes and the information needed to be stored and accessed.
